Summary  

The Warehouse Associate assists the logistical operation of the warehouse including the following functions: receiving, product storage/inventory to ensure daily flow of material. They will ensure a safe and secure working environment and adhere to all safety guidelines. The Warehouse Associate will assist in crew load outs daily, while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Valid Driver’s License required.  

  • At least 2-3 years diversified experience in warehouse operations, safety, & compliance in a manufacturing or distribution facility.  

  • Experience interacting effectively with all levels of teammates and supporting a general labor workforce in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse environment. 

  • OSHA approved safety Steel or Composite toe shoes are required. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  

  • Ability to build good relationships in a team-oriented environment.  

  • Proficient in Excel  

  • Organizational skills, detail oriented  

  • Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools  

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high demand environment.  

  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.  

  • Ability to work independently 

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Essential Functions 

  • Assisting crew load outs daily.  

  • Assisting in unloading trailers of product deliveries.  

  • Accurate picking/pulling of jobs to ensure installation success.  

  • Federal and Local municipality regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOL, EEOC, etc.)  

  • Maintain the appropriate inventory levels of supplies and materials within the warehouse & report usages.  

  • Purchasing of material as needed. 

  • Interfacing with installation crews and service technicians in a respectful manner. 

  • Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of all applicable warehouse locations. 

  • Other job duties as assigned

Work Environment  

  • Warehouse Setting: The primary work setting is within a warehouse or distribution center where various products, materials, or components related to Renewal by Andersen's offerings are stored. 

  • Shipping and Receiving: Working in areas dedicated to shipping and receiving, including the loading, and unloading of trucks. 

  • Inventory Control: Assisting in inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting, stock checks, and updating inventory records. 

  • Collaboration: Collaborating with other Warehouse Associates, supervisors, and potentially other departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations. 

  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse staff. 

  • Fast-Paced Environment: Operating in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak periods, where efficient handling of materials and products is crucial. 

  • Team Environment: Working as part of a team to collectively achieve warehouse goals and objectives.
